In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Mohit Malik speaks out on how some actors are charged less than half their fees, “Ek aur cheez hai ek actor ke liye bohot difficult hoti hai, ki aap ek level ka charge kar rahe ho amount aur ab half se bhi kaam lekar wapas aana chahte ho par maine kiya kyuki mujhe karna tha but uss show me pehele bhi itne bade bade stars the aur bohot saalo se chal raha tha.” (“One more thing that is very difficult for an actor is that you charge a certain amount, and then you have to come back taking even less than half of it. But I did it because I wanted to. That show already had such big stars before, and it had been running for many years.”)

He continued, “Phir maine waha pe jaake joh bhi kiya logo ko pasand aya aur maine uss kirdaar ke liye bohot mehenat ki thi. Mere character ke pass ek lingo thi par mujhe koi teacher nahi mila toh mai youtube pe dekh ke lingo seekha, Anupam Shyaam Ji, he’s no more unke kamre me jaakar script leke aata tha aur script padha karta tha raat ko to get that lingo on my own so yeah I did my job.” (“Then when I went there, whatever I did, people liked it, and I had worked really hard for that character. My character had a specific lingo, but I didn’t have a teacher to guide me, so I learned it by watching YouTube. Anupam Shyam Ji, who is no longer with us, I used to go to his room, take the script, and read it at night to get that lingo on my own. So yeah, I did my job.”)
